mitbbs.ai （华人空间） is a bilingual (English/Chinese) news portal and community for the global Chinese diaspora, operated by Superstar Telecom, based in New York. This page states the terms for automated and AI access to our content.

Free, no license needed: search-engine indexing; AI answers and citations using headlines and short excerpts with attribution to "mitbbs.ai" and a link to the original article; our free data APIs and MCP within published rate limits (see llms.txt).

License required: bulk retrieval of full article text; model training or fine-tuning; redistribution, sublicensing, or inclusion in commercial datasets or products; systematic mirroring of our news or forum corpus.

How to license: (1) Paid Agent API tiers — structured news search, semantic search, and AI-context APIs with API-key access and usage-based pricing (docs: llms.txt, OpenAPI). (2) Pay-per-crawl via TollBit and Cloudflare Pay Per Crawl — compliant crawlers pay per request for licensed full-text access. (3) Direct annual corpus licenses for AI platforms and institutions.

Rights note: licensing covers content mitbbs.ai owns or is permitted to license (first-party and original content). Aggregated third-party articles remain subject to their original publishers' rights; every API item carries rights metadata — please honor it.

Crawler etiquette: honor our robots.txt, identify your crawler with a contact URL, respect rate limits (back off on HTTP 429), and prefer the API over scraping at scale.
