October 20, 2026 is launch day. MITBBS — the New York-based bilingual news portal operated by Superstar Telecom — has opened a full English edition at mitbbs.ai/en, and this blog is its front porch.

Until now, MITBBS served overseas Chinese readers with Chinese-language news, forums and tools. Plenty of our readers, though, live their lives in both languages: they follow U.S. politics, markets and immigration policy in English, and they have been asking for the same newsroom, in English. Today they have it.

Here is what the English edition includes from day one. A home page with Top Stories across U.S. & Politics, Business & Markets, Tech & AI, World, Sports and Immigration & Life. Full-length English articles written fresh in English — never machine-translated from the Chinese pages. A listen-aloud audio version of every article, read by our two hosts, Andy and Emily, for the commute or the kitchen. A videos page with daily anchor briefings and Shorts. The community forum, with every board presented in English. And the practical tools our readers rely on: finance, weather, currency, flights, hotels, housing, visa and immigration information, and the yellow pages.

The Chinese edition continues exactly as before — same newsroom, same standards, two languages. One story, two real editions.
