mitbbs.ai (华人空间） is the news portal and community forum for overseas Chinese. This page documents how AI agents (including Meta Muse via the connector) can use our API.

What we offer



  • Chinese diaspora news: AI-curated headlines updated every 2 hours across 50+ boards — US news, China news, Taiwan, AI/tech, immigration, finance, and more.

  • Community forum: full phpBB forum with 50+ boards, blogs, chat, and games.

  • All content in Simplified Chinese.

    Base URL: https://mitbbs.ai/agent-api/v1/

    All endpoints return JSON. Authenticate with your API key in the X-API-Key header.

    Get a key



    Visit https://mitbbs.ai and generate an API key from your account settings. Read-only keys work for news search.

    Write safety



    All user-generated content passes through our Gatekeeper (AI screening). Flagged content is temp-hidden for human review. Ban/delete actions return     human_review_required`.

    Connector



    mitbbs.ai is available as a Meta Muse connector. Connect it in Muse to search Chinese diaspora news by conversation.
